About the Social Thought Minor
The Social Thought minor is limited to students who formally apply and are admitted. Interested applicants must submit a copy of their transcript, a personal statement that includes their reasons for applying, and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member to the Undergraduate Counselor's
Office, 254E Haines Hall.
To enter the minor, students must have an overall grade-point average of 2.0 or better and apply for
admission only after successfully completing the following lower division requirements: General
Education Clusters 21A and 21B, OR two courses from Philosophy 6, Political Science 10, Sociology
